I was at diabetes camp. It was our sleepover day and we were going to watch a movie with pizza. I was playing a game WITH dodgeballs. The object of the game was to keep the balls away from the girls. The room was empty except for a couple of chairs, tables and camping things. It was super fun until I tripped on some shoes and broke my arm. Which now looked like a noodle. Thoughts just started running through my head but the worst one was: is it broken? The camp counselors who were very nice whisked me away into a different room and they gave me some lemon flavored ice thing. It tasted so good but it didn’t help my thoughts. The camp counselors called 911 and soon an ambulance was waiting for me. The camp counselors and 911 helped me into the ambulance. A nice camp counselor came with me and tried to calm me but all I wanted to do was see my parents. When we got to the hospital for my 5th time. (good and bad times) The people who work there put me in a room with a bed, tv and some chairs. They put me on the bed and turned on the tv. Eventually my parents came. When my parents came I was smiling a huge smile and tears started to come to my eyes. They turned on something I actually liked. (the first thing was horrible) I told them what happened and after that I just watched Spongebob and Alvin and the chipmunks until the doctors came. When they did come they came with a huge thing that looked like a crusher. They told me it was a X-ray thank goodness. They injected me with this stuff that put me in a deep sleep. When I woke up I had a neon green cast on and everything had a double next to it. I kept saying everything is duplicating. I went home and got back at 3:00 am but it wasn’t so bad.
