Personal Narrative: Callum MacDonald - My Dog

-We should get a dog! My mom said. My ears open really wide, I can’t stop smiling, I jump up and down. My brother and sister look at me with amazement. I can’t believe it is true? My family was arguing about what the name for the was going to be. We decided that the name for the dog was going to be “Grizzly”. A really long time later my mom and my brother went to Maine to see the dog. -This small male moonlight black dog was yours to keep, but you have to wait until it is 7 weeks and 6 days old. The person who worked there said. My mom said if I wanted to go to get the dog or stay at my grandparents house. I said I wanted to stay at my grandparents house. Weeks later I went to my grandparents house a day before my family went to Maine to get the dog. I had pasta for dinner. I had to go to bed. I woke up the next day, and I went down the stairs slowly. - Good morning. I said to my grandpa who was eating cereal with banana pieces in it, he was drinking coffee and doing puzzles in the newspaper. -Can I play on your iPad? I said. -Yes you can. My grandpa said. I was playing on the iPad for a while, and my grandma came down the stairs slowly. -What would you like to have for breakfast? My grandma said. -Pancakes. I said. -Ok. My grandma said. My grandma was in the kitchen when I was on the couch playing video games on the iPad. -Pancakes are ready! My grandma said. I went into the kitchen, sat on a chair and my grandma gave me my pancakes. -What would you like for a drink? My grandpa said. -Orange juice. I said. My grandpa got out the orange juice, a cup and poured some orange juice. When I finished my breakfast, I went up the stairs to a room, shut the door, put on my socks, underwear, shorts, t-shirt and went down the stairs. When I went down the stairs my cousin came. I jumped up and down, I couldn't stop smiling, I put on my sneakers, went outside, came up with a game where one person hid something somewhere and the other person had to find and get to another place to win, while running away from the other person. After that I went to my house and I was waiting for my family. When my family came, the dog jumped out and ran right to me.
