 Volunteers Wanted!
- Under Construction-

I love to include families in the daily routines of my classroom. For that reason, there will be many volunteer opportunities happening this year. As need arises, I will link the volunteer opportunities to "wejoinin" pages for you to sign up. Take a look at the "job" offers ahead, and check back from time to time, as new ones might be added!

Math Games

Ever since I started my Math Fridays activity, it has always been a huge success. If you like to play board games, and love the added challenge of math, consider helping us out. I will need one parent to organize 3 more volunteers to make a total of 4 groups of students (or 4 volunteers if the parent organizer just wants to supervise). Ideally the participating parents should play the games ahead of time to get familiarized with the rules. We will meet one Friday a month for one hour at the end of the day, and we will rotate the groups of students every 15 minutes to play with 4 different games. At the end of the session, the games will be placed in the "juegos" area of the classroom for the students to play when other school related assignments have been completed. I will provide the games and instructions.

Crafts

I will need two or three volunteers who can work from home or come to the classroom to prepare school materials like math games that need to be cut up and organized in baggies, science kits, social studies flip books and crafty activities in general. Under revision

Classroom Parties

I will need a party planner or two to get the classroom parties ready. I normally celebrate Halloween and End of Year parties to invite all families, and there might be more added. Stay tuned! Under revision

Mystery Reader

Are you a book worm? Do you have a stack of books on your night stand or do you prefer magazines and online articles? Whatever your choice of reading, if you enjoy reading and would like to show your passion, we would love to have you over as a mystery reader!
